Brady needed just 1:51 to lead the Patriots 80 yards in five plays on the opening possession, capping it with a score of 7-yard strike to Wes Welker. The next March in New England covered 59 yards and seven plays with a collar Gronkowski from 10 yards.
Brady had a hand in the next touchdown, too ... but because his fifth interception of his last three postseason starts in place only TD in Denver (5-yard run on Willis McGahee's first game of the second quarter). But it was the last time the Broncos do not look remotely competitive on this night.
