Kristin Cavallari, "Hills" actress and former "Dancing with the Stars" Hoofer, is expecting a baby bear, providing the perfect antidote to a disappointing season for her boyfriend, the Chicago Bears, Jay Cutler.
"We are pleased to announce that we expecting our first child together," said the couple to People.com. "It's an incredible moment in our lives and we cannot wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."
They began dating in late 2010 and committed in the spring of 2011. Cutler broke off the engagement during the summer, the pair met in the fall.
The Bears had a 7-3 start last fall amid reports that Cutler was showing signs of maturity (when he was not cursing at a coach) after his controversial 2011 playoffs. Then he broke the thumb, underwent surgery and missed the final six games of the season. In early December, they were doing Cavallari Twitter once again, an announcement that Cutler left struggling a bit.
