Gary Carter Has New Brain Tumors, His Daughter Says.Baseball Hall of Famer Gary Carter has new tumors on his brain, his daughter said Thursday on its website.
"I write these words with tears because I am so sad for my father," Kimmy Carter Bloemers posted.
Carter was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and was treated. He had an MRI last week revealed that many tumors,Bloemers wrote.
In his last days on her blog, she tells a difficult week for her father, whom Carter tearing the rotator cuff after falling in the hallway of doctor’s office, and to have surgery on an open wound of gum.
"He had to be vaccinated to numb the area so they can remove a small sharp bone and shave down what was bothering dad for a while. Fortunately, this region in his mouth was starting to feel better, "wrote Bloemers.
The blog ends with the new state aggravated his father:
"Yesterday we were waiting in anticipation of the results of MRIDad (as they were sent to Duke), but were informed they would be today ..... Father had a difficult day and had to rest.
"Just a moment ago, my mother received a phone call from Dr. Vat Duke. I wish I could say that the results were good ...
"Dr. V told my mother that there are now several new spots /tumors on the brain of my father. I write this with tears because I am so sad for my father. Dr. Jimmy Harris is coming to my parents' house this evening to talk to the family about the next step. I will continue to keep you all updated. Love to all and thank you for the prayers. "
